January 2011!
So, this month what happened (I'm forcing myself to remember)? Lyla started a gymnastic class - which she may have been too young for. She enjoyed it but would try to play instead of listening to the teacher, and then when I would tell her to pay attention she decided she wanted to sit with me instead. We stopped going after a few weeks, but I think we will try again because it was a good activity for her to do. She does get to try swimming lessons in July. I had a birthday on the 11th and then on the 12th Bill and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary by staying home with the kids (aren't we awesome?). I took Gage to the Dr for his well baby check and the Dr and I decided it would be best to put Gage on some medicine for his reflux. Gage is 2 months old this month. I really wish I could remember his stats - bad mom moment. We still had the newborn sleeping issues – like up every 2 hours. This was hard to get used too – especially since Lyla was sleeping through the night at 2 weeks.
I also went back to work this month. I'm going back and forth on whether I'm happy to be back at work or not, but I figure either way doesn't matter since I have no choice but to work. Pictures!!
Your kids are EXACTLY like ours. Syd was a perfect sleeper and chase had silent reflux. Once you find something that works keep doing it. My mom slept my brother in the swing because it was the only place he would. With chase we elevated part of his mattress and it seemed to help sleeping him on an incline, but his reflux wasn't bad enough for meds either. Good luck, and get some sleep girl!
